Meet your Retreat Hostess

Ashley Rhys, Founder of Head to Body Retreat

Greetings and welcome! As a Belizean American, who was raised in the beautiful country of Belize, Central America. I am a dedicated Retreat Facilitator, Reiki I and II Energy Healer, Meditation and Sound Healing Facilitator, and Founder of Head to Body Retreat, LLC.  I am a proud member of the African American/Black and Afro-Caribbean community. I have a deep passion for also guiding Black Women on their transformative journeys, while bringing a unique perspective and cultural sensitivity to the realm of holistic well-being/wellness. I enjoy nature, the beach, dancing, hiking, and being in environments, where I can completely be FREE. My hope is that each person that attends our retreats will just feel just as comfortable as I do.

As a License Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified EMDR/Trauma Therapist , I leverage my 11 years of experience to create enriching and inclusive retreat experiences for black women to learn how to heal and empower themselves one day at a time. My approach is rooted in the rich tapestry of African and diasporic traditions, weaving together ancestral wisdom with modern methodologies to provide a holistic and empowering experience.
